Hello my name is Star, I am six years old. I go to our local country school and have many friends who I love very much. I have an undiagnosed brain condition so I cannot walk or talk yet, but I understand everything and I am very cheeky!
My communications teacher calls me a little toad because I love to play tricks on her.

I live with Mummy and Daddy in the country, and at the moment we have Melanie staying with us. Mel is an occupational therapist so we are very lucky. She is helping Mummy while Daddy is busy. We do physiotherapy every day. This is called ABR, Advanced Biomechanical Rehabilitation. If you would like to click on the links below, you can read all about it. It has helped me to start to use my hands and changed my body to help me move.
I love going to school, and now I have two communication devices which I am using to answer questions and to spell and count. It is very exciting and I hope you will follow my progress as I get better.

Lots of love me xxx

School X Country

Hello
We had our school x-country today. Luckily Daddy was home as he helped me around the course. We had to do 4 laps of the school field ( it was only 2 laps last year!) Daddy pushed me around and it was very bumpy but we made it. All of my friends were running with me, it was very hard work!
We are going to the circus on Friday with my friend Madi and her Mum and Dad. Mel is going to the beach so I hope she has a sunny day.
Love me xx

Back to school

I am sooo happy to be back at school with all my friends. Nanny has been visiting to help us all out as Mummy is still hobbling around. Daddy is doing more trips away. We all went to the beach the other day and I had wheel chair races with Mummy.
Nanny goes home to New Zealand tomorrow so I will miss her very much. Mel and Mummy will look after me while Daddy is in LA.
I have been doing lots of mathematics at school which I love, and spending time laughing with all my friends.
My back appears to be filling out especially at the top. Even my doctor said something about it! I have to see my doctor about my back at the end of May so will see what he says!
Lots of love

My Gee came to help look after me for the last three weeks. We had a lot of fun.
Mel has been doing mathematics with me using my Dynavox and I have been doing very well. I love maths and can add and subtract very quickly.
Tomorrow Daddy Mummy Mel and I are going to the Easter Show. Mummy will be in a wheelchair like me because she is not allowed to walk on her ankle. Mummy has been eating my food too because she cannot eat hard food.
I will let you know what I see at the Easter Show and maybe have some pictures as well.
Lots of love
Me xx
